Each
Product form (shape) has three prices (Regular production, Unikat
production, and High End Unikat Production). Why ? Each Product
form may be decorated with any of the thousands of patterns painted by the
artists of Ceramika Artystyczna. Patterns range in complexity and have
different pricing depending on the amount of artwork, brush painting, and
variety of colours. The regular production patterns were originally designed
by the Unikat artists but are now painted by the many regular painting
production crew. These patterns tend to be similar in complexity and are
more easily replicated by different artists at the Ceramika Artystyczna
factory. The patterns grouped in this category are the least expensive. The
Unikat production patterns are much more complicated and have the name of
the artist and the Unikat design number on the bottom of the piece. Painting
production of a Unikat design is controlled by the designing Unikat artist.
There are only a couple of dozen Unikat artists that have the skill and are
part of the design team. These patterns require more time to paint and are
limited in their production. These Unikat patterns require a higher pricing.
The High End Unikat patterns are the most complex in their artwork and are
therefore the most collectible, unique, and limited in production. The High
End Unikat patterns are the highest priced Designs made by the Designing
Unikat artists of Ceramika Artystyczna. Out of the more than 2000 Ceramika
designs (patterns) there are fewer than 150 different High End Unikat
Designs.
